Hoewel, Wiskunde haar redelijk afgaat, gaan andere vakken zoals Agricultuur haar moeilijker af.
My name is Mwaiwawo Matias, and I am 15 years old. I come from Nkhalamba Village, T/A Chapananga, in Chikwawa District. I am a second born child in a family of two girls and two boys. I was born after my sister. I am in Form 2 at St. Lawrence Girls Secondary School.
Generally life is good currently, even though I meet some problems sometimes. That’s how life goes anyway. I thank God for allowing me to be at school with the help of the Foundation. Honestly, I could have dropped out of school due to poverty at home.
St. Lawrence Girls Secondary School is a beautiful School. It provides a variety of activities apart from classroom work. We have entertainment ; sports as well as clubs.
In sports, I play netball. In entertainment I like dancing and watching movies. I belong to the Young Christian Students club.
About Mr Moyo, he is a very good teacher. He always advises us to work hard in class and he knows how to teach.
Just like Mr Moyo, other teachers are also very good. We do not have a heartless teacher at St. Lawrence. All of them are approachable and friendly too.
On the food, we eat different types of food. We are provided with rice, meat(beef), beans, nsima and vegetables. We have a well planned diet.
One of the exiting moments on Saturday mornings when Mr Moyo as the sports master, takes the whole school for a morning run up to Kamuzu Bridge over Shire River.
I always thank God for sending me to this school and I pray for the good health for the sponsors so that they may continue getting resources meant to put me and others in class.
