Studiebeurzen

Hello,

2025 is treating us fine here so far. How ‘s the family that side?

I managed to talk to the parents of our scholarship girls. Yankho, Grace, Mwaiwawo , Mary and Alinafe. I couldn’t get through to Martha’s parents due to connectivity issues. All of them are in good shape and are ready to run a critical phase before writing National exams. The parents continue to thank the Foundation for the assistance it provides to their wards.

I had a chance to talk to some girls especially Grace and Yankho. They assured me that they are comfortable at their new school, Phwadzi. They both promised to work very hard to pass their exams. I encouraged them and assured them of a continuation of scholarship as well as my availability so that they should not feel excluded. I reiterated that I will pay them a visit in the course of the second term.

We wensen iedereen veel succes.

Letter from Doreen

Dear Dr Nilwik.

I hope this email finds you well.

With this piece of writing, I would like to sincerely thank you for your generous support of my educational efforts.

Your commitment to my academic success is greatly appreciated and has had a profound impact on my path. In the last academic year, I worked diligently on my studies and achieved considerable academic success. Additionally, I actively participated in extracurricular activities that promoted personal growth, skill development, and community involvement. These enriching experiences have significantly improved my academic and interpersonal skills.

As we move forward, I kindly ask you for your continued financial support to cover my tuition fees this new academic year. This support is crucial to ensure uninterrupted academic progress and to enable me to fully engage in academic and extracurricular activities in  my current class, third year. Your contribution has been instrumental in shaping my academic career. Your trust in my potential and your investment in my education have encouraged me to pursue my goals with confidence and determination.

I am deeply grateful for your trust and support. Thank you for your unwavering commitment to my educational success.

Sincerely,

Doreen Kapusa

Hey,

I have written this letter in order to inform you together with my sponsors how my education at University of Malawi is going.

The School was opened at 07 August, 2022, during the first week it was the week for orientations, this week we were being shown the campus and we were told to make ourselves friendly to the new environment, since the University of Malawi has turned to be my home of education.

The University of Malawi has not enough place to accommodate it’ students only about one thousand students out of eight thousand students which the University have as of now stay in the campus. I stay to a certain village which is close to the University of Malawi. This village is full of students who are pursuing their education at University of Malawi (UNIMA).

In terms of my education, everything is quite good and working hard so that I can get good grades. This semester the school will be closed at 16 December, 2022. As of now being a first year student am taking five courses in my program of Bachelor of Education in Mathematics. These five courses are: physics, chemistry, computer, language, and Mathematics.

Yours sincerely

Doreen Kapusa

Lonjeza silviya (2014-2019)

Lonjeza Silviya was a student on Saint Lawrence Secundary School who graduated last year.

She had the possibility to go because of the scolarships that she's been given for the last two years. Also her third en fourth year the foundation provided for her study fees.

We just received a recent message from her:

"Hi how are you and your family? As for me I am good. I want to thank you for your visit at St Lawrence because many things changed. For example, the administration was painted, the guards and the chefs were given uniforms because of you, the hostels looked neat because we brushed the walls. All of these things were done ebcause of your coming and on behalf of all the students. Lastly I just wanted to tell that you should come soon again.  God bless you, Lonjeza"
